FOR

FOR SOUTH ASIAN MOTHERS OF TEEN GIRLS

A different life is possible
for your daughter...

Right now it might seem hopeless. She’s withdrawn, hiding in her room. Her outbursts put the whole family on edge. You’ve tried therapy, maybe even medication, but nothing seems to be working. She’s stuck in a diagnosis and it has become her identity. But that’s not who she is. And I can help bring her back. Where therapy dwells on the past, my approach helps her build a new future for herself, and provides the structures and accountability to make it stick.

I invite you to schedule a free Connection Call below — it's just an honest conversation about your specific situation, and we'll see if my approach is right for your family. Please note that your daughter must be on the call, as well as your spouse (if applicable).

Not sure where to start? There's a free guide for South Asian mothers.

YOU'RE NOT IMAGINING IT

The problem is real.
And it's not your fault.

Your daughter used to be more “herself,” but now she’s avoiding the things she used to love while she spends countless hours on her phone. Maybe she's snapping at everyone, or she's gone completely quiet. Her confidence has vanished. She's struggling— and you are too.

You may have already tried therapy, maybe medication. She's not better. Something is still missing. You know your daughter. You know this isn't just a phase.

"The atmosphere in your home has changed. There's a tension that everyone feels and nobody names. But there is a way back to her— and back to each other."

And while all of this is happening inside her — it's happening to your whole family too. You're walking on eggshells, choosing your words carefully, bracing yourself before you knock on her door.

The atmosphere in your home has changed. There's a tension that everyone feels and nobody names. Your other children feel it. Your partner feels it. You go to bed exhausted not just from worry, but from the sheer effort of managing a household that's holding its breath.

WHY SHE HASN'T BEEN REACHED YET

The conventional path
has a gap in it.

Most of the girls I coach have already tried therapy. They’ve been on medication. Many of them for several years. But nothing has changed. I’ve seen the same thing hundreds of times, and there’s a good reason: therapy and medication deal with symptoms. Medication numbs them so they don’t feel as depressed, but they’re not happy either. And therapy dwells in the past — the same past that makes her feel broken. It validates her anxiety and depression, so it’s not just how she feels — it’s become part of her identity.

The work I do focuses on the future, helping her create a life she wants to live into: a girl who knows herself, trusts herself, and truly loves herself.

  • Therapy is usually the first suggestion, but what she needs isn’t more talking about what’s broken. She needs to focus on the future and build something new.

  • Talking it through is the natural instinct. But these conversations tend to end in silence, an argument, or a door closing.

  • Books, podcasts, and parenting resources offer generic frameworks — they don’t offer real-time support and accountability, and rarely speak to the specific weight of South Asian family dynamics.

  • Giving her space feels respectful, but leaves you wondering whether you've stepped back too far

  • Watching and waiting feels impossible when you can see her disappearing in front of you

"My job isn't to fix her. It's to help her get calm enough to hear herself, clear enough to trust herself, and confident enough to be herself. Not as a finish line, but as a way of moving through the world."

IS THIS THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOUR FAMILY?

If this sounds like your daughter —
you're in the right place.

This is for your daughter if she...

  • Is between 12 and 25 years old

  • Feels anxious, depressed, overwhelmed or numb

  • Is a people-pleaser who can’t make a move without worrying about what other people will think of her

  • Is high-achieving on the outside but struggling on the inside

  • Has tried therapy but felt like something was still missing

This is for you if...

  • You can see your daughter suffering and feel helpless to reach her

  • The atmosphere at home has shifted — and you miss the family you used to be

  • You want a coach who understands South Asian family dynamics — not someone who will pathologize your culture

  • You're ready to invest in something that goes beyond coping strategies

  • You want to hear your daughter laugh again

If this feels familiar, you're not alone — and there is hope...

About Me

I've lived what your daughter

is navigating.

I was an anxious kid. At seven or eight years old I was already carrying something heavy that I had no name for and nobody to talk to about it. So I just carried it. Silently, for the next two decades. I got my education, built my career, and created a life for myself — but I never felt truly peaceful or free. I went to therapy and got on medication, but they didn’t help. It was my work with a coach that cracked open something I didn't know was possible. And it has inspired me to do the work I do now — because I know exactly what your daughter is carrying, and what life is like on the other side.

I'm a South Asian woman and the mother of a teen girl. For the past six years I have worked with hundreds of teen girls across three continents. I understand the specific dynamics of South Asian families — the love, the pressure, the silence, and the gap that opens between mothers and daughters when neither one has the language to cross it. I'm not here to judge your parenting or tell you your culture is the problem. I'm here to help your daughter find herself within it — and to help your family find each other again.

MY APPROACH

Most approaches focus on managing what's broken.

This one focuses on building what's possible.

There's a reason talking about the problem keeps your daughter stuck in it. Unpacking anxiety, analyzing triggers, processing pain — all of that has its place. But it misses the thing that changes everything: helping her discover who she actually is beneath the pressure, the perfectionism, and the people-pleasing. When she finds that, the anxiety doesn't disappear overnight — but she stops being controlled by it. She starts making choices from groundedness rather than fear. She comes home to herself. And when that happens, something shifts for your whole family too.

My methodology is the Calm, Clear, Confident framework. Three layers, each one building on the last.

Calm The Foundation

Before your daughter can change anything, she needs to feel safe in her own body and her own mind. We work with the nervous system first — building practices that bring her out of chronic stress and into a state where real change is actually possible.

Clear The Deeper Work

This is where we identify the stories she's been telling herself, the beliefs she's inherited, and the identity she's been performing — so she can begin to choose something truer. Most approaches skip this entirely.

Confident The Emergence

Real confidence isn't something you perform. It's something you inhabit. In this phase, your daughter begins to show up differently — in school, in relationships, at home — because she knows who she is.

What shifts for your whole family...

When your daughter finds herself, the atmosphere in your home shifts with her. The tension that has been living in your walls starts to lift. Conversations become possible again. You stop bracing yourself. Doors stop slamming. The silence softens. Your family starts to breathe. Fahrin doesn't just help girls find themselves. She helps families find each other again.

5 Signs Your Teen Daughter is

Struggling with Her Mental Health

And What Actually Helps Her

Most mothers I speak to had been watching their daughter struggle for twelve to eighteen months before they understood what they were actually seeing. Not because they weren't paying attention — but because the signs are specific, and nobody had named them clearly. This guide does that. If something feels wrong but you can't quite articulate it, start here. It takes ten minutes to read and it will change how you see what's happening.

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

What mothers

want to know

How is this different from therapy?

Therapy focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, often by exploring and processing the past. Coaching is future-focused — we work with what's present and build toward where your daughter wants to go. My approach goes beyond managing symptoms to rebuilding identity — helping your daughter discover who she actually is beneath the pressure, the perfectionism, and the expectations, so she can move forward from a place of groundedness rather than fear. Many of my clients work with me after therapy, or alongside it.

Where do sessions take place?

All sessions are held online via video call, so your daughter can work with me from anywhere in the world.

Do you understand South Asian family dynamics?

Deeply. I'm South Asian myself, and I've spent years working with families navigating the specific tensions of culture, identity, expectation, and belonging. You won't need to explain yourself to me. And my approach doesn't ask your daughter to reject her culture or her family — it helps her find herself within it, so she can honour both who she is and where she comes from.

How do I know this will actually work?

I've worked with hundreds of teen girls and their families, and the transformations go deep — girls who were withdrawn, anxious, and lost finding genuine confidence and clarity, and families who had been walking on eggshells finally breathing again. The best way to know if it will work for your daughter specifically is the Connection Call — a free, no-obligation conversation where we look honestly at where she is and whether my approach is the right fit. Book a free connection call.

My daughter is resistant. Will this still work?

Mild resistance is something we can work with — and it's often a sign that something needs to shift. The Connection Call is where we'll discuss my approach together with your daughter (and your spouse, if you have one) to determine whether it's the right fit at this time.

Does my daughter need to be willing before I book a call?

Yes, your daughter needs to be on the Connection Call. You may want to show her some of my videos on social media so she understands my approach, the possibility it provides, and how it's different from therapy. On the call, we'll talk about what's going on, and whether this is the right fit. There's no pressure and no obligation. Book a free connection call.

THE FIRST STEP

The first step is

a conversation.

If you've read this far, something on this page resonated. Trust that. You didn't end up here by accident — you ended up here because you're looking for something real, and part of you is wondering if this might be it.

The Connection Call is a free, 1 hour video call with you, your daughter, and your spouse (if you have one). We'll discuss what's been going on with your daughter and how it has impacted your family. We'll review my approach and determine if it's the right fit for your daughter at this time.

Book it. The worst that can happen is you get off the call with more clarity than you had before.

1)

You tell me what's going on

1) You tell me what's going on

I'll listen — really listen — to what's been happening with your daughter, for how long, and what you've already tried. No judgment, no assumptions.

2)

I share how I work

2) I share how I work

I'll explain my approach and whether I think it's the right fit for your daughter specifically. I'll be honest if I don't think I'm the right person for her right now.

3)

We decide together

3) We decide together

If it feels like a fit, I'll share the options and we'll talk next steps. There's no obligation to decide on the call — take all the time you need.

Free . 1 Hour . Completely confidential . No obligation

Your daughter is still in there. And so is the family you've been missing.
One conversation is where it starts.
